It is well known how beneficial it is to include vegetables in our diet to keep us healthy and ingest all the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that our body needs. Five servings a day of fruits or vegetables are a good foundation for such a diet.

Sometimes it is not so easy to buy any vegetable in what months of the year. Although some vegetables are available throughout the year to be purchased at different stores, the vegetables are seasonal. The ones we see available for purchase outside the season come from greenhouses.

Seasonal vegetables tend to be cheaper because their production is higher. Some vegetables out of season have exorbitant prices, one of the reasons is their higher production cost.

One of the advantages of our purées and vegetable concentrates is that they allow you to enjoy any vegetable at any time of the year, regardless of whether it is the ideal season for such vegetables.

Below we show you a calendar divided by months in which we will include the vegetables that form our purés according to whether they are seasonal or not, so it will be easier to know which vegetables will be cheaper, richer and which will not come from greenhouses.

April: Tomato, cucumber, garlic, eggplant, spinach, pumpkin, asparagus, leek, beet, pepper, broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower, kale.

May: Tomato, cucumber, garlic, spinach, pumpkin, carrot, asparagus, leek, beet, pepper, zucchini.

June: Tomato, cucumber, garlic, pumpkin, carrot, beet, pepper, zucchini, sweet potato.
